Wedding catering budget in Brussels: the real 2026 prices
Cocktail, seated dinner, drinks, staff, equipment: an honest breakdown of the catering budget for a 100-guest Brussels wedding.

The question that comes up at every first meeting: “What does a wedding caterer in Brussels really cost?” Here's the answer, line by line, based on a 100-guest wedding.
1. Food: 55–60% of the budget
- Cocktail only (10–12 bites): €45–70 per guest.
- Cocktail + served buffet: €85–115 per guest.
- Cocktail + 3-course seated dinner: €110–150 per guest.
- Signature 5–7 course seated dinner: €160–220 per guest.
2. Drinks: 18–25%
Open bar with softs, wines and bubbles: €28–55 per guest depending on the selection. This is where you save smartly by adjusting the sparkling range rather than cutting quantities.
3. Staff: 12–18%
Our rates are transparent and billed by actual hour: €32/h waiter, €35/h bartender, €39/h cook, €45/h head chef and €49/h maître d'. Plan one waiter per 20 guests for buffets, one per 12 for seated dinners.
4. Equipment and logistics: 8–12%
Tableware, glassware, linen, hot/cold furniture, transport and return washing. If your venue is equipped, this drops sharply — check it before signing the venue.
5. Payment schedule
At Deby's Delice: 50% on confirmation, 30% 14 days before and 20% 3 days after the event. No admin fees, no surprises on the final invoice.
6. Three invisible savings levers
- Marrying on a Friday or Sunday: up to 15% difference overall.
- Reducing the number of courses rather than product quality.
- Choosing a venue already equipped with kitchen and furniture.
