Fusion catering in Brussels: building a coherent reception menu
A fusion caterer brings culinary influences together in one menu. At Deby’s Delice, that dialogue is Afro-European: plantain and cassava meet cocktail, buffet and seated-dinner formats. For a Brussels reception, start with the recipes and programme rather than a label.

Make fusion tangible on the plate
Plantain mini-burgers, Plantagna and cassava creations give our cuisine tangible reference points. Choose recipes for their role in the meal: a cocktail bite serves a different purpose from a main course. Fillings and availability are confirmed in the proposal; a photograph is not a list of inclusions.
Balance textures, pace and portions
Avoid repeating similar bites. Discuss the balance of hot and cold dishes, bites and mains, then quantities suited to the reception’s duration. There is no universal ratio of familiar recipes to new flavours: build the menu around your preferences and those of your guests.
An original menu should still be clear
Share ingredient preferences and allergies before approval. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free are not interchangeable: the team must check adaptations and cross-contact risks. Ask for staffing, equipment and drinks to be itemised instead of assuming the word “fusion” includes them.
Your enquiry ready to send
Include the date, address, guest count, timings, format, allergies and budget. VAT-inclusive consumer prices remain separate from VAT-exclusive business prices: use the appropriate catalogue. A DEOLIA enquiry allows availability and services to be assessed; it does not confirm a booking.
