Winter barbecue in Brussels: planning a reception around a brazier
The photographed brazier inspires a reception with visible cooking, but a winter barbecue involves more than a flame. Temperature, wind, guest comfort and safety determine whether it suits a year-end event.

Assess the venue before the menu
Check that the venue permits fuel-burning cooking with a suitable outdoor position and safety distances. Never install a brazier in an enclosed room or unsuitable shelter. The photograph does not guarantee this equipment is available or included.
Shelter guests, not the fire
Indoor guest reception with outdoor cooking can be assessed when access allows. Plan lighting, a safe route and weather contingencies. Venue and caterer must approve the arrangement; Moyo House is not an automatic backup.
Build a seasonal meal through a quote
Discuss warm dishes, grilled food, vegetables and sides for your project. Report allergies and dietary needs when enquiring. Quantities, service time, staffing and equipment belong in the proposal, with business and consumer rates kept separate.
